Riku was just your "average 19-year old Earthling" with a dream to become a hero. That is until his life suddenly took an unexpected turn when a large monster destroyed his home. With nowhere to go, he found himself at a secret underground base and soon discovered his true origins — that he is not from Earth, and is in fact an Ultraman. But not just any Ultraman, as it turns out Riku is actually the son of the Land of Light's fallen warrior and one of the most villainous beings in the universe, Ultraman Belial.

Despite this, Riku adamantly opposes his father and fights to protect his home from his evil machinations.
